Summary, etc.	Eliseo Verón ha sido el pionero de la Semiótica en América Latina en la década de los años 60 y ha tenido el mérito de abonar con su enseñanza y sus libros un punto de vista decididamente estratégico-formal y no taxonómico-descriptivo, inaugurando la Sociosemiótica y construyendo una reflexión compleja sobre las relaciones entre la discursividad social, producción, circulación y recepción de sentido.<br/>Su teoría, que se inspira en el filósofo Charles S. Peirce, se vuelve fundadora de un punto de vista terciario para encarar la mutación de los dispositivos técnicos, del espacio público, de las mediaciones, de los sujetos, de los discursos. Este número está dedicado a mostrar las transformaciones de su pensamiento, desde sus brillantes intuiciones iniciales distinguiendo sociedades mediáticas de las mediatizadas, hasta los problemas teórico-metodológicos de una semiótica aplicada. <br/>
