| Summary, etc. | Un impiadoso crítico dijo alguna vez que fue San Juan uno de los primeros escritores del género fantástico al dejarnos su Apocalipsis, pero sin duda hay un exceso de mala fe en esa afirmación.<br/>Y muchas veces los relatos fantásticos fueron considerados como un género menor; sin embargo se olvida que las aventuras de Jasón y los argonautas, las peripecias de Perseo, las tareas de Hércules y la tragedia de Edipo, por sólo citar algunos de los textos hoy clásicos, fueron en su tiempo relatos fantásticos con la misma estructura que los actuales ya que sus personajes no distinguen entre lo real y lo irreal,mientras la suma de elementos reales y elementos increíbles comforman un cosmos donde los hechos másinverosímiles siguen, sin embargo, un desarrollo lógico cercano.
