Summary, etc.	Augusto Remo Erdosain, desesperado ante la falta de dinero y perspectivas, comete un robo en la compañía azucarera en la que trabaja. Erdosain se considera a sí mismo un inventor y justifica este primer delito como el medio para realizar su mayor anhelo: la rosa de cobre.<br/>Pero el robo culmina con la humillación cuando quede al descubierto. En busca de un préstamo para devolver el dinero, Erdosain se encuentra con el farmacéutico Ergueta, el primer loco, quien lo conducirá hasta el Astrólogo, líder de una revolución que pretende cambiar el orden social imperante a través de una despiadada revolución.<br/>En Los siete locos se desarrollan algunos de los problemas planteados por el existencialismo filosófico. Las cuestiones morales, la soledad, la angustia ante el sinsentido de la vida y la desolación de la muerte son temas recurrentes en la arquitectura metafísica de sus protagonistas. Es una obra de lúcida crítica social a la Argentina de los años 30.
